Mischa Tech informs you about the data protection on this website:

1. Name & contact details of the data controller

This privacy policy is intended to inform users of this website about nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data and applies to data processing by the website operator:

Michael Zerba
Charles-De-Gaulle-Street 71
78050 Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany

The appointment of a company data protection officer is not necessary in my case (cf. applicable data protection law, e.g. Art. 37 GDPR and § 38 BDSG).

2. Collection and further processing of personal data incl. type and purpose of use

2.1 When visiting the website

When you visit this website, your browser systematically transmits certain information to the server, which could in turn make you identifiable. For example, you or your web browser transmit information such as the IP address assigned by your provider.

You cannot prevent this system-related behaviour of your browser. Therefore, you must trust that I handle the transmitted information sensitively. Therefore, I do not collect, process or use the transmitted information in your interest for analysis, advertising purposes or similar. Rather, I use this information solely for the purpose of maintaining my web services. When this purpose is achieved, this information is deleted from the log file. To provide the service, the following information is processed by the web server:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the file accessed,
  • Website from which the access was made (referrer URL),
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The aforementioned data is processed by me for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability
  • Other administrative purposes, e.g. identification of orphaned links

The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para.1 p.1 lit.f GDPR. My legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. I will never use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

2.2 Comment function

I offer users the opportunity to leave individual comments on individual posts on the blog. If a data subject leaves a comment, in addition to the comments left by the data subject, information on the time of comment entry and the user name (pseudonym) chosen by the data subject are stored and published. If the user does not enter his or her user name, the post will be published under the abbreviation “Anonymous”.

After a comment is sent by a data subject, a validity check of the IP address is carried out by the WordPress plugin “Antispam Bee”. In the process, the IP address is subjected to a local check and not transmitted to external third parties.

In order to comply with the principle of data and storage minimisation, the IP address of the person concerned (the person publishing) is not stored or is only stored as the local IP address “127.0.0.1”. There will be no disclosure of this collected personal data to third parties, unless such disclosure is required by law or serves the legal defence of the controller.
